We are also doing special family fishing trips.

And all you HARDCORE fisherman are still welcome as usual.

Fish Stix is currently Fishing for Bluefish, Striped Bass, Seabass and Fluke, now through September!

Call Captain Kris for your next trip!

Hey Guys & Gals,

WOW! What a great season we had aboard the new FISH STIX in 2015. We can't thank you enough for fishing with us!

The 2016 fishing season isn't that far away, and hopefully the weather will stay mild for us. We are currently booking charters for the entire 2016 season. April & May, we plan on being docked in the Keyport area, fishing the Raritan Bay and NY waters, fishing for Striped Bass and Winter Flounder. We will be back to our normal location in the Shark River Inlet in June and we will fish for Sharks, Striped Bass and Seabass. July, August & September we will be fishing for Summer Flounder (Fluke). October through November 15, will be bottom fishing for Porgies and Seabass and also Striped Bass. November 16 through January 31, we will be fishing for Blackfish.

So if you would like to book a charter, please do so as soon as possible so our dates aren't full. Like every year, we will be sailing Open Boat on any day that we are not chartered. We will also be setting aside SPECIFIC OPEN BOAT DATES throughout the season too!

Any questions, concerns or further information about booking a fishing charter, please give a call or text.

Again, thanks for supporting our local business.

See you aboard soon,

Captain Kris Black

This new boat is a beast and is absolutely loaded to the gills with the absolute best of everything. If you enjoyed our other boat, you will not be disappointed with this one.

There are a TON of factors when choosing a 6 pack charter boat for your needs. Unfortunately, a lot of them are over looked. Here's a list of things you should consider....

  • Catching Fish (obviously)
  • Customer Service
  • The Boat (ample fishing room, clean, safe, etc.)
  • Will the Captain take your trip out in anything? (rough seas, etc.)
  • Do they fish the way you like? (not just trolling, etc.)
  • Kid friendly
  • Quality Rental Tackle
  • Quality Terminal Tackle
  • Full time charter boat
  • How much fishing time?
  • Double Anchors
  • Anchor Haulers
  • Fresh bait
  • Personable Crew
  • Will the boat fish for 2 separate species in one day?
  • Truth in Fishing Reports
  • Good network with other boats

These are just a few things you should look for when choosing the right boat for your needs. Also, they are key factors and we think that they are very important for our business. We try our best to meet everyone's needs, whether you're a hardcore fisherman or on a trip with your family. We can never do too many fishing trips in a season. Having new customers aboard with us is very important and even more important that you come back again and again.
