Had our Striper/Blackfish Open Boat trip today with Big Joe, Nate, Jimmy and Mike. Made a left and started looking for bait in the dark, nothing. Got to the north and read bait the WHOLE time, but no takers on the jigs. So we left there and headed for some Togs.
Got set up and waited. And waited. And waited. Then we got em going. Mike was crushing them to around 3lbs or so until later he caught all 5's or so. Then the steady pick began. Jimmy did a hell of a job swinging nice fish into the boat and also giving Big Joe some great pointers. Nate did the same, along with a nice 7 3/4 pounder. Big Joe was a first time togger today, his second fish was a solid 8lbs on the scale and he picked 4's and 5's for the rest of the day.
After a nice day out fishing, we had a decent bite with lots of 5-6lbers getting tossed back. Around 50 keeper size togs or so for the day. Great day on the water with an awesome crew!

Mate Jesse and I went out looking for some stripers today. Read lots of bait and fish crashing up top. Had one shot at some fish and got caught in the blues with break offs, and they were gone. Off to the rocky bottom we went.....
Got set up and finally after about an hour, we got em chewing. And it was on. Probably had about 30-40 keeper size togs to 8lbs. Most of them ranged 5-6lbs.
Cant forget "the one that got away"...... Jesse hooked into a "decent" one, but I saw his rod and ran to the bow for the net. Right as I was going to the water that old bastard said **** you, im out! Went straight down and snap! Fish was 100% 12lbs +.
Fished the rocky stuff for 3 hours and headed home keeping a total of 2 toggies around 5lbs each. Had to get out on this very nice October day, before this crappy weather hits!

Had Jim, Tom and Mike on theirStriper/Bluefish trip today. Headed to the. North and got on some good readings for first light, but no takers. Made a run further north to bird life and really good readings. After a few drifts, finally landed a yellow eyed demon and lost another fish. Not an easy day for these fish. Loads of readings of bait and fish stacked top to bottom. Hmmmm......?
Decided to take the guys for some tog, which none of them have ever done before. Made a few drops and got our limit to around 5lbs. Played c&r until we were outta bait.
The guys did verrrrrrrry well for their first time. Mostly all 3 lb toggies. The 30 knot sw wind had nothing on this crew! The guys had a good time and will definetly be back this November for some togs.
Total for today 5 tog all 3-5lbs, a blue and a 3-4lb porgy.
Thanks again guys!

We are back in the water at this time! Call or email for availability. And check back for daily fishing reports.
The boat has been down since the beginning of August. Blown motor(reason for lack of reports). We are re powered with a new 225hp Evinrude. We are back in the game the first week of October! Just in time for Stripers, Blues, Albies and Black Fish!!!
